SAC - Safety Awareness Campaign - Kenya

We are pleased to announce that the 3rd Nairobi Aviation Safety Campaign will be taking place from 8th-10th June 2016 in Nairobi. The Nairobi Safety Campaign has been organized with a combined e­ffort from the World Food Programme (WFP) and the local contracted WFP operators. The safety campaign is part of a continuous e­ffort to raise aviation safety awareness and address aviation safety concerns that have been identified in the humanitarian operations in the region.

The key topics that will be discussed in the seminar include:

  • Fatigue Risk Management by: Jo Gillespie - Gates Aviation
  • Air Traffic Management / Mid Air Collision by: Jo Gillespie - Gates Aviation
  • Updates on Safety Management Standards & Best Practices by: Juan Carlos Lozano - COPAC
  • Root Cause Analysis by: Peter Budd - Qatar CAA Advisor
The Campaign will consist of a one day seminar and specific workshops targeted towards addressing the key topics.
